Car Repair Classes

In November we had the honor of hosting a car repair class with Christ’s Haven for Children. Our mechanics and board taught 8 high school students/ new drivers the basics of their very own vehicles! They learned about where different parts and equipment were located on their vehicle, what it is used for or why it is necessary for functionality, and what they need to do when issues arise on the road.

Hosted in a fun scavenger hunt and gameshow style, these new drivers are now equipped to drive with more confidence in their vehicles and themselves when situations will inevitably happen.

Our heart is to demystify vehicle operation and maintenance, so every one can feel confident while driving and when maintenance is needed on their vehicle. Even if it is something that a mechanic shop is needed for the repair, we want every one to have the basic knowledge, so they can fairly get their vehicle needs met. It all starts at 16 when you first learn to drive!
